REWIND 2015 – My favourite photographs

2015 has been a great year for me as a wildlife photographer. Lots of travel. Exciting experiences. New friends. In the process, I made some photographs that I am happy with. Most of my travel was to 3 places – Andaman & Nicobar, Ladakh and Agumbe. No wonder a majority of the images below are from these 3 places.   Waiting 4 years for that shot! Another leaf?

At first glance, it seemed like a dry leaf. A bird had just landed in that area of the bush and had seemingly vanished. Searching for it had become a puzzle. A thorough search through the camera lens and – again – nothing. I thought to myself “There’s something clearly wrong. Let’s look at that bush again.” And there it was. In fact, the bird was the “dry leaf”!
