Red-tailed Wheatear (Oenanthe chrysopygia), also known as Rusty-tailed Wheatear, Persian Wheatear or Afghan Wheatear, is a winter migrant to North-west India. It is a sparsely distributed bird, with records from Greater Rann of Kutch and parts of Rajasthan, including Tal Chapar Wildlife Sanctuary. It is a bird of rocky habitats and is often seen perching on rocks.
